                NAMES OF FLOWERS.A to B.

I am including pages on the names of flowers, for there are many people who believe  that  the botanic names of flowers are also the Latin  names(and vice-versa), also the following  pages lists, at length some of the many hundreds of flowers that we now see. Perhaps the list is by  no means complete, due in the main to the very large and wide selection of the marvelous flowers available. Although some of the flowers have Latin names, others originated from the greek names,  which may be the reason some of the Latin names are not readily available I do wish however to pose a qestion to you :-  If there is a paticular flower that is grown in abundance in one country, but rarely grown in another, how can it have a common name which applies to both countries?? This could however be classed as a trick question, as the common names are English.
